{"id":164,"date":"2021-08-11T09:15:00","date_gmt":"2021-08-11T12:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/corpusgratus.com\/?p=164"},"modified":"2022-03-21T21:54:45","modified_gmt":"2022-03-21T20:54:45","slug":"o-que-sao-as-terapias-complementares","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/corpusgratus.com\/en\/blog\/o-que-sao-as-terapias-complementares\/","title":{"rendered":"What are Complementary Therapies?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><br>In this article, I am going to explain in a simple way, why these therapies are gaining more and more space in the medical field, as a complementary treatment  and bringing many benefits to people\u2019s lives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>I believe many of you readers have already been interested in trying a holistic session or a complementary therapy session, but end up being in doubt and hesitate because you don\u2019t know exactly how it works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>The therapy practices can be used complementary to the conventional health treatments and brings many benefits to the body and mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"translation-block\">These techniques are recognized by the World Health Organization (WHO), based on traditional knowledge, used in an integrated way with conventional medicine, but not replacing it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-1l5f7\">People usually search for complementary therapies, when they want a healthier lifestyle, balance and harmony in life and also to prevent diseases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Records point to the increasing use of complementary therapy in Western medicine. In Brazil, 29 integrative and complementary therapies are currently recognized and incorporated into the public health system, (SUS). There are many types of therapies and the most common are reiki, flower therapy, meditation, yoga, aromatherapy, access bars and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p id=\"viewer-5gcog\">These methods consider and see the human being as a whole, working on the physical, mental, emotional and energetic aspects in an integrated way. It can help to prevent and cure, or reduce the symptoms of a disease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Many of these techniques have their origins in oriental medicine, bringing with them a mix of practical and scientific knowledge. They are mainly based on methods of relaxation, relief of trigger points, manipulation of energies and changes in lifestyle. S\u00e3o t\u00e9cnicas reconhecidas pela Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial da Sa\u00fade (OMS), baseadas em conhecimentos tradicionais, usados de forma integrada \u00e0 medicina convencional, mas n\u00e3o a substituindo. As terapias complementares s\u00e3o procuradas principalmente para ajudar as pessoas a viverem com mais equil\u00edbrio, em busca de maior qualidade de vida e podem ser utilizadas tamb\u00e9m de forma preventiva. Existem dados que comprovam a aceita\u00e7\u00e3o, cada vez maior, da terapia complementar na medicina ocidental \u2014 inclusive na rede p\u00fablica. No Brasil, atualmente s\u00e3o reconhecidas 29 pr\u00e1ticas\/terapias integrativas e complementares (TIC\/PICs) que est\u00e3o incorporadas ao Sistema \u00danico de Sa\u00fade (SUS). Dentre elas est\u00e3o: medita\u00e7\u00e3o, yoga, terapia de florais, reiki, aromaterapia, acupuntura e muitas outras. Com uma abordagem hol\u00edstica, essas t\u00e9cnicas consideram e v\u00eaem o ser humano como um todo, e englobam de forma integrada, seus aspectos f\u00edsico, mental, emocional e energ\u00e9tico, auxiliando na preven\u00e7\u00e3o, cura ou na diminui\u00e7\u00e3o dos sintomas de uma doen\u00e7a.
